Below is a list of useful links to both national support services and organisations specifically providing help to families living in Kent.

A padlet of multimedia resources will also be available soon.

Important information: What to do if you don't feel safe

Anyone experiencing a mental health crisis can call 111 and select the option for mental health.

If you think you may be at risk of hurting yourself or your baby:

  1. Immediately ensure the baby is in a safe place (like a cot)
  2. Step away for a few minutes
  3. Seek help. Call 999. If possible ask a trusted person to support you and take over care immediately.

These thoughts can be a sign of severe postpartum depression or anxiety, and are not a reflection on you as a person.
